@BeliebersForever89 Hvae you tried the GRID method - see my other videos. Some people who find the tradtional method difficult discover they are much better at the other way. PS

IS THIS THE FASTEST WAY TO DO THIS BECAUSE IM TRYING TO PRACTICE FOR MY GED classes AND WERE GONNA BE TIMED.........?
lilCtren 6 months ago
@lilCtren Both this method and the grid method are the standard fastest method but of course you have to practice - there are tricks to get faster but they dont always work. Really the speed is down to how well you know your times tables.

Its good that you are using a calculator to check. I cannot tell exactly where you are goung wrong until i see you actual working but it should look like..
1st line 72
2nd line x25
3rd line 360
4th line 1440
5th line 1800
sorry if this doesnt come out or line up correctly

what if u have to figure out what number goes in to a certin number for example
982 goes into 192 Manny times.
Dmt4030 7 months ago
@Dmt4030 I think you need to look at the division videos for example 36 x 6 = 216 but 216 divided by 6 = 36 (in other words 6 "goes into" 216 by 36 times). Although the example you asked about could either be done by long division or as a fraction by cancelling. There are videos that try to explain each of these techniques.
