Hey, I used the exact same spring from Home Depot. I cut it down a couple notches but it's still really loud even though I padded the plunger. Do you think that making a better seal (say with taping under the plunger tube) would help? Also, I've used PEX before and for longer barrels it's not straight so I would not recommend it. CPVC is the same price and much better.

It's worth a shot. To better silence it, pad the plunger a bit more, and fill in the empty spaces in the blaster with foam backer rod. The foam will absorb some of the vibration as opposed to the shell of the blaster.

Nice mods dude, glad to see someone else that uses the home depo springs, I do have a ? What all mods did you do to the nf with that seal, cuz I used tge same spring but was having trouble with the seal

@MAVREV13 A material called PEX was used for the barrel. It's like PVC but a bit more flexible. To seal it, these two pistols just have super glue (cyanocrylate,) but I've found recently that epoxy bests super glue in strength, and only takes five minutes to cure if you get the fast-acting type.
