not to jump into this but guns are terrible for self defense... if it's a situation like enemies are running up on you and you have space to aim at them, mortar beats gun. so guns aren't even best for war... self-defense is for situations in which your person is being violated and you need a solution... a good jiu jitsu guy can be standing next to you talking one moment, and in the next, have broken your finger with your gun and you're being choked unconscious. guns are a last resort, imo

Fist fight/gun fight, they are both trying to cause physical harm to someone which is never justified and illega. I've seen what fists and stomps can do to an unconscious body. People get beaten to death all the time, the only difference between a gun and an attack is the time it takes.

I'll defend myself the best way I know how, which is putting two rounds in their heart and one in their head. You can stick with all that gay hugging each other shit.
