New Computer XPS 9000

Hey Guys. About 3 weeks before Christmas my main computer decided to grenade on me. The CPU and Front side bus failed. I knew the FSB was on its way out but wasn't expecting it to happen so soon. Anywho, the girlfriend was on the Dell site and noticed the 12 days of Dell and they had an XPS9000 fully loaded for $1300. Specs are as follows

I7 920 @ 2.66GHZ
9GB DDR 3 Tri Channel
ATI 5870
1TB Maxtor Hard Drive
Hauppage TV Tuner

Has a bunch of other crap in her too but yeah its very fast, very sweet and if it wasn't for the slow ass hard drive it would probably score a sweet score. for now she hits a 5.9 on the windows experience score. anywho, check it out and leave comments.

OMG a remote control! if its what i think it is, its a dream come true! Whenever im watching a movie in bed on my computer im soo lazy to get up and turn it off at the end, a remote would be perfect! i got the same pc and it didnt come with a remote :(

We have a Studio XPS 8100. Win 7, 1 TB,8gb RAM, i5 @ 3.20, DVD drive that does about anything, 21.5 in. HD monitor.

@Skavaen oh nothing better than a good deal well except from james5.5!!!!!!! haha i've just got an the mac pro last weak to replace my macbook pro..have to say it's a total beast of a machine specs here Two 2.66GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon “Westmere” (12 cores) 6 GB (6 x 1 GB) i think i might marry my mac dude wet my pants when i seen it in the apple store anyway love the vids keep up the great work buddy

@DeezilB I definately thought about it. Believe me. I was tempted to hold out and wait for apple to revise their macs with the i7 however when this deal showed up I just couldn't say no. It was a super mega steal.
