  • Sudetenland has NEVER been part of Germany, It has been part Bohemian kingdom since 11 century!!!! Saying that hitler was right to claim Sudetenland is the same like saying that Great Britain should hand over certain districts of London to the Iran and Pakistan.

  • @2VernalEquinox5

he was not an "appeaser"... he was a collaborator..

Watch Michael parentis "real reason for WW2".. That's real history..

  • Churchill was a brilliant orator and author, but had little military ability. However, he did understand that Chamberlain was making a fatal mistake with his "Munich Agreement".

  • lend lease was march 1941 not 1940

  • i think appeasement was vital - usa followed a isolationist policy, french had divided government, russia were not going to come to czechoslovakias aid, in 1938 britain only had 2 divisions and in 1939 - 16 compared to germanys 120. public opinion still favoured peace over war - britain couldnt afford to take part in a war against germany, italy and japan which was a possible outcome if they were to invade czechoslovakia. also the ribentrop - molotov line - possiblility of soviet aggression.

  • Churchill ftw

i dislike chamberlain's policy of appeasement

  • Just like to say to the first bit he wasn't just the prime minster of England, He was the prime minster of britain which would mean scotland, wales and n' ireland too who also fought in ww2 and lost lives and who contributed to the war effort. You'd think a big organisation like discovery could at least get their facts fully right

  • Why does this series not show the pre 1937 map of Europe in general and Germany in particular?

  • Very goood :P
