"Playful but with a haunting melancholy and loneliness just below the surface" - the first time I heard it I wanted to play it. Not a great performance - hadn't been back to the guitar for long when this was recorded wayyy back in early Jan '05 - honestly, I was lucky to make it through. I had no idea what a Milonga really was, so the feeling isn't quite right - and the camera/mic were terrible etc. etc. etc. ;-) but it has sentimental value.
Anyway, it's a beautiful piece - I see others have posted it so I'll put this up for grins...

Milonga tends to place greater emphasis on the rhythm of the music. Dancers must strive to keep their bodies relaxed, as syncopated pauses are not made.
There are two distinct styles of Milonga, Milonga Lisa and Milonga Traspie. In Milonga Lisa (Simple Milonga), dancers step on each beat of the music. In Milonga Traspies, dancers must transfer their weight from one foot to another, in double time to the music. ..."
