This is one of my latest productions.
The story behind it:

I bought a few keyboards at thrift stores and sampled the drum sounds from each. I then used these samples to create a drum pattern. The keyboards used where (see pic too): Yamaha PSS 80, Casio SA-21, and a really low budget Kawasaki.

Since these are lower quality devices I decided to create a song using 8bit synth sounds. I used a few of the synths from Tweakbench.com for all the different synth motifs. The only 2 that are not from there would be the bassline which is a free softsynth emulation of the Roland SH 101 called the TAL-Bassline. The other is the saxophone sound which comes from the VST plug called SaxLab by Linplugs.

I started with the drum pattern and then added more and more motifs until I had all the different ones you hear. Then I arranged them using Ableton Live. I still feel like I could do some more tweaks to it, but it wasnt a serious project to begin with so I dont know if Ill end up working on it again.
Also, If anyone knows what genre this would be in let me know, my guess would be trip hop? but im not too sure.

Thanks for listening! Any comments are appreciated!
