@SFChristo I entirely agree, re George. No George, no organ fixed. (My apologies, by the way, I meant, 'Let's *hear* it for the old coot, of course. Had I known his name, it would have been, 'Let's hear it for George.') There's only one alternative to not becoming an old coot, and it's to be a young or middle-aged corpse!

did you find the phantom of the opera while you in there? Thing's huge!

Christo, do you go to any of the churches/halls where there is a Carillon in SF?
you could play the intro piece from Dirty Harry soundtrack

1/ Looks like the electricians struck *yet again!!!* (Why is it that other tradesmen, members of the congregation and others, cannot grasp the simple fact that they should stay OUT of the organ!) 2/ Let's here it for the old coot. He nailed it dead to rights. 3/ Hell's bells! Is *this* how I'm going to end up!? (Better this, than a couch potato, though.) Thanks for the posting.

@Offshoreorganbuilder Hello, "ending up" as George has so far would be the envy of many many people in their 80s. He still works full time as a physician and learns new organ pieces. Eating well, the gym, and having a partner 39 years younger all help. :) If you like you can check out his channel here: SFBonedoc.

Looks to me like a tracker organ with a tubular-pneumatic facade action. Where is it?

VOB, this good organ is located at Old First Pres. in San Francisco. Its a Hutchings that William Visscher greatly expanded.
