@BomberAl123 (cont.) deal with our debt now, taxes will just get higher to pay for debt interest. And borrowing costs get higher each year, not only for the govt. but for the private sector, which in turn leads to less investment in the economy. Then the bond market will stop buying gilts, and their price will fall. Gilt yields rise, and then we end up paying even more interest on what we borrow. Then we'll lose our AAA rating. We're on a one-way road to a full blown economic crisis.

@BomberAl123 Yeh he's a joke because he's willing to tell people things they don't want to hear. Most people are quite happy for the government to keep spending billions of pounds we don't have, so long as our generation gets by. £850 billion bail-out for the banks? Where did we get that money from? Did we wish for it out of thin air? @matrix4022 I agree with you in some ways that disagreeing with EU is traditionally seen as a right wing ideology, although i wouldn't say fascist, but EU is the opposite to Socialism. It brings in privitisation, anti Union Laws and does not practices democracy, all of which are the opposite to Socialism
