After an extensive remodel, we just opened 3 years ago here at The Inn at Tabbs Creek, and have always been "Doily Free", (as well as "Doll Free", "Musty Old Furniture Free", well...you get the picture!). We updated our 1800's farmhouse to modern standards and decor while preserving it's traditional charm and Chesapeake Bay style. We are eco-friendly and fun, and not your grandparents B&B, Although of course we love grandparents, It is most exciting to see gen x and y guests discovering B&B's!

We here at The Barn Inn Bed and Breakfast in Millersburg, Ohio, continue to update, so the doilies are gone. Agree with Biscuit Hill BB, we need to reflect current trends and needs of our guests. Featuring current appointments creates a fresh and "Upcoming" setting for today's guest experience.

Well the Woodstocker Inn in Woodstock VT had a ritual burning of all our inherited doilys six years ago! As we proudly state 'We are attempting to drag B & B's into the 21st century' and strive to be different!
