Anyway it sounds like you are admitting it is a war for consumerism.

If wars are for profit.. then profit has to be defined. Not all war is to accumulate money, but it is to accumulate wealth. Typically resources. That's nature.
For example, "war for oil". Well, yes it's true, and necessary. You wouldn't be on this webpage right now without petroleum products that comes from oil. Alternatives such as homeland oil off shores and corn oil wont match our demand.
Name one thing in our current society that doesn't require petroleum and you'll impress me.

I doubt that. Olbermann got pwned by Scarborough not too long ago.. embarrassed. Olbermann has only ever operated in a self-constructed echo chamber where the only guests he allows are like-minded liberals. There are plenty of smart, reasonable liberals out there but he is not one of them.

Wow this is really pro constitution. Pro first amendment. Pro populist. I feel like this is the only place I can go that stands up to the corporate domination of my beloved USA. These two commentators can clearly separate the actions of the corporate power structure from the interests of We The People. Thanks Duckofprey; tonebonetone?
