Most mechanics hate this stuff because its a bitch to get off when doing a REAL tire repair.
-
@TheYellowRaptor700r Slime is not guaranteed to seal any sidewall punctures but we have been told by many people that our product has done just that. many Baja racers tell us they do donuts to get slime to the punctured area and that is how they seal the puncture and finish the race. Good luck, we hope this helped

I put this in my 07 GT mustang, guess what? DEAD TIRE SENSOR. Yeah, real "sensor safe".......thanks a lot slime.

@soccerpeve This formula is not yet on the market so you must have been using a different type. Slime has a satisfaction guarantee on all of our products so we will definitely solve this. We do make a TPMS safe sealant and If you were using our TPMS sealant then I would strongly recommend contacting our customer service team at Slime.com. We apologize for the inconvenience and so if it is easier to email me at this account, I will make sure the right person gets back to you asap.

@slimeemployee ...Slime Quick Spare Tire Sealant - you can find it on walmart.com. I don't know if it's the exact can, but I do know it was "Slime" and it was "TPS" safe. The very next day bam, dead sensor. Even in the review on walmart.com there is someone who had the same issue. Back when this happened it was over $100 for a sensor on ebay + dealer costs to "link" it to the car + re-mount/balance. Ended up giving the guy $200 off the car when I sold it. Sorry, but I'll never trust slime.

@soccerpeve -Slime has been the #1 tire sealant for over 20 years where as Quick Spair which is aerosol based has been around for just a year. Like any aerosol sealant, after a couple weeks it can dry up in your tire and destroy a tpms sensor. But for it to dry in just 1 day and break your tpms sensor, that's hard to understand. Quick Spair was made to compete with other aerosols but probably wont last much longer because Slime has always been about quality and aerosols are not that.

@slimeemployee I again recommend that you contact our great customer service team because it is not fair for anyone to have to pay that much money for something that wasn't their fault. Aerosols sealants simply dont come close to our most popular tire sealants that stay liquid inside your tires for well over 2 years. if customer service cant do anything for you then email me and i will send you a kit worth well over $100 to prove to you that slime is definitely a brand to trust!
