what if it was vented? same size same wood same everything. 4 big vents, what would the sound difference be?

@somos999 It would take out a lot of the body of the drum, and make the snare sound more pronounced.

how do you get this amazing sound out of the snare whit no muffling products on it?. i have the ddrum dominion ash wood snare and i had to put on it so much muffling to get a similar sound
