Belz Factory Outlet Mall Allen/ Mckinney

My boyfriend and I are here for the first time in the daytime. This mall was built in the 80s but has been abandoned for twenty years! It was actually quite scary because somebody sauntered by us without even looking at us. They must live there because there were NO cars at all there.

We didn't know about the asbestos until we were inside, and we didn't know about the black mold until waaay later XP

I spent about 2 hours in here back in May 2009 and took some pictures. Went back yesterday and half the building has been torn down now. This place has been abandoned for about 24 years now. Now that has come to an end. I also took some pictures of the exposed building. It smeels better there now

We used to go there when I was a kid a LOT! I always wondered what it looked like on the inside now :( I don't remember that thing in the middle being a fountain by the way. It was a big open area that we always joked would either make a great pool or a good place to skate board if there weren't those tiles. They even had handrails that were perfect for it going into it. In any case, thanks for the video, both my Dad and I enjoyed it.

Whoa, that was intense, especially with that loud bang near the end of this video, but I think that sound was probably made by one of these three things: local bums, building falling apart from neglect, or a ghost.

Demolition of the mall began back in Feb. 2010. I went there each Saturday to take pictures of the progressive tear down. Now all that remains is red dirt
