I`m 27 NOW and I`ve already seen this movie several times at different times and I am somehow aware that Peter Sellers is a legend and will NEVER get old, just NO WAY.
THIS movie IS funny as fuck. Actually it`s funny as can be. Cute, AND funny at the very same freakin` time dude. Sellers rocks like he always did, now and always.

@Tiberiotertio Well yeah, I am 38 and I remember seein the film when I was a kid and thought it was funny as fuck. I have kept my eyes open for it on video, then DVD for years. And then the other day I was here on youtube and I rememberd it so I typed it in and it came up. Unfortunately it isnt anywhere near as funny as I thought it was, in fact I got bored of it very very quickly and turned it off. I just cant see what I found funny anymore!

Watch the whole thing. This movie is hilarious. There's not a whole lot going on plot wise but it doesn't matter, that's how they wanted it. The original "script" I believe was only 67 pages long, the rest was basically improv.

We lost Blake Edwards yesterday. The world will miss him. The moment I heard of his passing, I remembered this scene from The Party -- the funniest opening scene in movie history -- and how my dad kept laughing so hard my mother threatened to leave the theater. Or so the story goes. Mr. Edwards would've enjoyed knowing that. May he Rest in Peace.
