mrKANEandLYNCH: One of the ideas behind quantum mechanics is that there's a principle called "uncertainty". This says that no observations at the sub-atomic level (electrons, neutrons, protons and all the other even tinier bits and forces which are theorised) are certain to be the same from one moment to the next, even given apparently identical circumstances, as the act of simply looking at things can change the outcome. Look up Schrödinger's cat for an example of this. Hope I helped. :)
Yeah -- 'Believers' are the opposite of Scientists because they don't have the ability or the honesty to say they don't know. The whole idea of their faith is a belief in something without proof. This is why it's never good to ask a Believer for an honest opinion, because they are incapable of being honest.
