@SeldomSheBoredMe It is different, not just faster but a different mix with a longer intro. I prefer the single version myself, it has a 'rougher' sound!

Ha ha! yes it's true. It's kind of hard not to be, after listening to a couple of their decent tunes that they made. There's also the fact, that it's hard to not be enchanted by Clare Grogan and helf pixie-like cuteness.

Usually when vinyl is transferred to CD it's the other way round !
This is the version from the "Happy Birthday" album, so maybe they were a bit different. I haven't heard the 7" single.

My pleasure. I didn't know that this had been released as a single, so this is from a CD re-release of the album. I've still got the original vinyl LP that I bought in 1981. But the song's the same as the CD version. In fact, now that I've got a USB turntable I might swap them. Vinyl forever !
