I can't find any reference to "Valerie Dyke" (credited with the story) having written anything else, anywhere. I wonder if that isn't Dick Van Dyke in pseudonym?
Rather fluff material. Could have had a better endng instead of the silly one they had. Prob. ran out of ideas. Apparently the dog couldn't be shot (even offscreen) once it was shown to be so cute. It would be a good exercise to find a better ending to this. Amazing how beautiful Stella was, along with Barbara Eden the 2 most beautiful blondes of that era (tho only their hairdressers knew for sure).
