@g2kmaster I know about the Adness release, since I have it. I was referring to the English dub. That's PD, for sure. The same goes for the America cut of Fukusaku's film, Fukkatsu no Hi, released here as Virus. The Japanese versions released by Adness are copyrighted, but the English dubs are not.
@ancientflounder No it is not, The DVD company "Adness" bought the rights in 2005 and released the film on a legal DVD, complete with a clear widescreen transfer and original Japanese language with english subtitles. Even had production notes. I'm sorry, but the rest are bootlegs and the film is not public domain.
