Come and find out at Big Things in Store at the Australian War Memorial's large technology conservation annexe at 8 Callan Street, Mitchell, Australian Capital Territory Australia, on Sunday 18 September 2011. Big Things in Store is a once-a-year only opportunity to see inside the Memorial's storage area of large technology objects. Here's your chance to talk to the experts and get behind the scenes on the restoration of a Lockheed Hudson and a WW2 Japanese Ha-Go tank. Also on show is a De Haviland Tiger Moth, a WW2 DAP Beaufort Bomber, a V2 rocket on its original trailer (the only one of its kind in the southern hemisphere), Centurion tanks and a prototype Bushmaster Infantry Mobility Vehicle -- the basis of those operated by Australian Diggers in Afghanistan today.
