There are times when we may be finished with a meal, and we know we are pretty full but we "just want a little something more". Other times we may be in between our meal or snack and get a desire to grab something out of anxiety, depression, nervousness, or some other emotion. These emotions don't necessarily mean our bodies are hungry or need fuel. We have simply conditioned ourselves to calm our emotions by eating or snacking.
