After several failed attempts to shape Java to jump over a broad jump (she saw it as a contact) we decided to shape it using a familiar cue - a regular jump.

  • Nice work Beth! I love that you went back to shaping basics and broke it down to components that Java could understand. This is the test of a great trainer!

  • Thanks so much! Your training is the best and I appreciate your support.

  • That's great the way you used something that "Bumble Bee" was already familiar with, the hurdle, in order to train the broad jump. Nice work! Do we have a Dock Doggie in the makiing here perhaps?

  • Funny, and that would be fun too!

  • Nice Job! All my dogs are clicker trained to do Agility, best way to teach.

  • Thank you, Astrid. It's the only way I want to go - keeping it fun for my dog(s) makes it fun for me.

  • great job 5 star video

  • I have been training with the best, like Stacy Peardot, Ann Braue, Karin Holik, Jen Pinder, Joan Meyer, Jim Basic, Stephanie Spyr to name a few and they are all using positive methods. The results are phenomenal. Some use the clicker other use a verbal marker.

  • Thanks! I'm going through your videos now - nice work and thanks for showing the steps to get there!
