one of the 3 last sonatas composed by that genius called Franz Schubert, this one from 1828 the year of his death at the young age of 31, despite all the prolific work that he wrote , can we imagine how much wonderful music could have composed should he lived twice that age that still is pretty young 62!

If I would have to choose one single piece to listen to just before dying, it would definitely be this. Just out of this world... I've never heard such a depth, such a soulful interpretation.

Listening to Maria Pires interpretation is coming home to an emotionally extremely comprehensive mother, which are so rare in this world. A dialogue from the most beautiful kind.
