@lukeloseth naa, he did an additive time signature that equaled 2 bars of 7/8. it's 8+6/8. it does sound weird, because the rhythm of the lyrics in the original is meant for 7/8 time, which is why the lyrics don't seem to fit at the end of every first measure.

Whoa ! I like how you changed the pattern from straight 7/8 to a 4/4 and 3/4 during the verses, it inverts the vocal pattern by an 8th note and gives it a new, dragging characteristic. Great interpretation! You've got a very defined, unique timbre in your voice that is very impressive. Keep up the good work!
