Ever wonder how radio avoided the wrath of the FCC and got away with playing The Who's "Who Are You" back in the late 1970's - early 80's? Here is your answer: album rock radio played this variation of the song. This is the full length clean version which was pressed on a promotion for radio LP. If you listen close enough you might also hear some minor mixing differences when comparing this version to the original full length song.
Note the sticker on the album cover that says "Who Are You - edited for airplay". The round label in the middle of the record is white; therefore, this is commonly called a "white label promo".
This promo LP also contains a different variation of the song "Trick Of The Light" along with the original mixes of "Had Enough" and "Guitar And Pen", which were all changed with the 1996 remastered reissue cd of Who Are You. In fact, the mix for nearly every song has been slightly altered in some way on the reissue cd.

I just noticed that Keith is sitting in a chair that says "NOT TO BE TAKEN AWAY" he would die soon after. :'(

@Mritde Yes, I don't think they ever got a chance to do a tour for the album. Pick up this version of Who Are You if you can find it - it has a different mix than the remastered cd.
