@hbyton1 Hillsborough had nothing to do with standing. If the Leppings Lane end had been an all-seater stand, then far more people would have died. It was all down to the bizzies, absolutely nothing to do with standing whatsoever.
Football is being stolen from the people by the corporate businessman and safe-standing areas with the lower ticket prices that would bring is the only hope football has cos' it's dying a slow and painful death as things are now.

@KopiteP250505 i agree about what you are saying about the atmosphere not being as good as it was, but we do have better support than lots of other teams.
but, remember Chelsea 2005 that was a great atmosphere and we had an all seater stadium

@yiddarmy21 its not Liverpool's song originally the Irish where playing the Netherlands in Ainfield in 1996 and there where loads of Irish Liverpool people there and the fields of athenry rang out for the first time around Ainfield and then started singing it in Liverpool matches and choose the song to commemorate hilsbrough
