World heritage sites are not what most tourists would think of finding on the clubbing island of Ibiza, but the Balearic hotspot has just as many attractions for families and those looking for a quiet holiday as for partygoers.
And those who really want to get away from it all can always take a trip to Formentera, which can only be reached by boat from the larger island, and is famous for its untroubled atmosphere and spectacular beaches.
Nor will water sports enthusiasts be disappointed by a visit to either of the islands. There are plenty of opportunities to scuba dive and admire the beautiful underwater scenery, while those who want to can always take up sailing or water-skiing. There are even special cycle routes set up for those who wish to escape the sea and sand to admire Ibizas UNESCO sites or the lush vegetation in the islands interiors.
Ms Carmen Ferrer, Director of the Fundacion Ibiza and Formentera joined Keith Betton to explain why the islands are a great choice for your holiday.
