  • looks great, I would have liked to see the lights a little more dimmer so the candle stands out more

  • Looks really quite good. Nice shallow depth of field, good lighting, range of shots. However, there is one thing that did slightly bug me and that was the candle in the way of the actor!

    Perhaps either tracking round the actor or doing the odd focus pull would enhance it as well as moving the candle to one side! ;-)

    I've had a go myself at trying the cinematic look if you want to pass comment on it. Search for Derby People 2 in You Tube. All the best.

  • At 1280x480, I would assume that he shot it at 1280x720 then simply cropped it in post. No magic here.

  • How did you get anamorphic images with the JVC GY-HD? Optical Lens converter?
