From previewing London Town on Amazon, this sounds very much a standout. Is the album as a whole worth getting?

@cubdukat Thanks. Still haven't got it yet but that's as much as haven't seen it anywhere to buy - don't buy online. Giving this track another listen now, must certainly get hold of the album. Punk seems a necessary thing to happen but seems to have simplistically lumped all kinds of stuff in together as 'the enemy', apart from the particular prog abominations.

@stalkek I would, if for no other reason than it was the last time Wings would be together in its original incarnation. Drummer Joe English and guitarist Jimmy McCullough quit, and then McCullough died of an OD.

It probably would have been a bigger success if it had been released at a different time. Punk was just starting to become all the rage. Still, I would definitely get it.

Thanks.Luckily I find dodgy or throwaway lyrics easy enough to let by if the music is good enough. The better the lyrics of course the better, but I think lyrics have maybe gotten a disproportionate amount of focus, compared to sound/rhythm of voice & music primarily about music.
