We were in Jerusalem at the beginning of Hanukah - 2007 when we heard that they were moving the $3 million gold menorah that has been built for the future rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem from a storage place to a site at Temple Square. We got there as they were putting it on a trailer and moving it. It was chaotic with singing, people shouting, cameras flashing, soldiers around, etc... They almost took the top of it on a low overhand and had to unload it, move it by hand, and then reload it. An interesting and historic night -- particularly if you like prophecy.
THis menorah is planned to be placed in the new temple, like SOlomons Temple.
