  • I am suffering with same problem

    in fs9

My fps is like 40+ then suddenly goes to 5-10 then again to 40+

I tried every possible thing but i don't seem to find solution...

  • yeah it blows mine happens in all of my games and sometimes it doesnt happen and i get 30 fps locked and then the stutter comes back or my computer shutts off completely and wont start up again.=[=[ it suxks.

  • I think issue is with Superfetch service!!

    If your using Window Vista

Disable Superfetch service just google on how to

Coz for me it worked(I think) as i tested LD767 ystrday didn't face stutters

  • hmmm ok thanks i disabled it just now ill see how my games work thanks.=]

  • YOR PROBLEM IS YOUR GPUS THEY HAVE A BAD SLI SCALING THATS YOUR PROBLEM lolcaps sorry xd

  • If you think that's lag, have you seen the lag I get?

  • @INFORISISY Well I was just saying what I know so far, but any suggestions are welcome. There are no right or wrong answers about what causes stuttering since anything can cause it.

  • @vangstaz Actually, you are right, i'm just throwing out a slew of suggestions.

  • @vangstaz Hmm.

    He has a 9400GT?

    Fine whatever. i give up.

  • @INFORISISY You don't understand. Lag and micro stuttering are two different things. You are referring to as if his 9400GT isn't powerful enough to render the clouds... in that case it will cause lag. BUT his frames are running at a really constant speed and still you can see it "skipping" often. Now that is micro stuttering. I believe it has something to do with the communication between the CPU and GPU, who knows. Hard drive, even perhaps.

  • @vangstaz Well, in this situation, The GPU is a likely candidate,

Do you see the amount of clouds are rendered in his video?

3-D Clouds take a Tremendous amount of Horsepower to Create.

    Clouds are monsters.

  • @INFORISISY It doesn't matter what GPU you have because I own the XFX RADEON HD 4850 1024MB GDDR3 graphics card and is stutters how what this video demonstrated. There are many factors that causes stuttering and that's why there has yet to be a cure.

  • still bettter than my 5 year old pc

  • I think i found the problem

The Issue lies within your video Card

If it's weak and it has Less than 512 mb of VRAM

It will Stutter on High Anti Aliasing and Anisotropic Settings

Also, if you use REX, do NOT use clouds Larger than 512x512
