Hi Jeni & Billy, Monbly-Peg or Mumbly-peg is a game where two kids take a knife and drop of throw it into the wood at their feet getting ever closer to the opponents toes. They were using a pocket knife if I remember properly and the evening was hot. It is a very strong memory though the year is really not so clear to me . This is not a game to play on a very beautiful mahogany porch. All the best , GUy

Sandy and Luiisa did this for a bunch of local families around Washington ct when I was about ten . Some house on Sabeth day lane .. I remember a beautiful big porch and some kids playing mombly peg in the mahagany porch . 1959 or 1960 I think.. The circus was wonderful .. All the best Guy Wolff
This is not just art, it is a science and psychology.
