For teaching GIS students how to use OpenStreetMap to contribute geographic data, I have collected GPS tracks around Paris' suburbs (quartier Bussy-St-Georges) using the IphiGeNie application for Iphone. Then, I have uploaded those tracks (GPX) to OSM using the Java OSM editor. I have contributed by adding the boulevard de cents arpents which apparently was recently built.

This is the first of two videos where I want to teach students how to use contribute geographic data. In this first, I have opened JOSM, loaded a GPX file, and downloaded OSM data for the concerned area.
