I tried to install OpenSolaris RC2 on my EeePC,I tested.I was succeed installing,sound and wifi and HSDPA modem work fine!so let me show you the youtube video playing on OpenSolaris RC2 on my EeePC!

WAs looking for info on buying a eeePC and other OS choices than the built in, the fact u used laraku's 00 opening to test makes me think oweners of eeePCs are pretty damn win.

is everything supported? i know wifi is, so i suppose it's just the SD card reader, sound and the webcam?

almost is supported,SD,sound,wifi,wired work.but webcam doesn't work.
