Human nature cannot be changed and in order to create a better understanding of people and models then you need MONEY to be successful so that people can look at you as a business model.

every that posted below are complete ignorant. If you truly listened to his talk he never talks about not making money but consciously making business decisions that affects people not in a negative way. IF making money is an art form Whole Foods has mastered it. It's about creating value in life of resources, he sells alcohol because the masses want to drink alcohol.

If this man wants people to eat healthy, then why is Whole Market selling alcoholic beverages since there is a warning label on every bottle? They might as well sell organic cigarettes.

A really SUPER talk on what business, at its best, is capable of. Many entrepreneurs start off that way. Unfortunately, professional managers get into the act and most cannot recognize a "higher purpose" if you gave it to them on a plate with water-cress around it.
Conscious leadership is the HUGE lacuna in our society. How, oh HOW, can we, as a society, develop leaders with a higher level of consciousness?
