  • People hate to see their favorite bike lose, the 1000's are faster street bikes than the busa's and 14's, because their basically touring bikes with a lot of horsepower. Within a 1mile span any and every 1000 will win with the right rider.

  • tbh though when i first picked up my busa didnt really feel any quicker than my r1 until i hit 4th and 5th gears which are the only unrestricted gears from stock, however unresticted totally different animal really makes the difference especially with the tall gearing the thing has insane pick up from any rpm. fairplay the 1000s are fast but put some money and time into 1 of these bikes and nothing will come close......

  • Send me your email and ill send you the dyno sheet you cunt muscle....the motor is in my quad now and even after changing the intake drivetrain lose, TO THE WHEELS ON THE SAME DYNO its still made 144 to the wheels! Its a dynojet btw they dont lie so suck it gay boy

  • @SUMOtarded i test drove a s1000rr. actually believe it or not it was the first bike i actually rode on the street lololol (i had a gsxr750 that i only ran up and down the street because i still needed insurance) and let me tell you from first hand experience NOTHING will touch one of those bikes. i don't give a shit what it is or whose riding/driving it nothing will walk an s1000rr. the new zx10s will give it a run for its money up till about 150 or so but not much after that.

  • @deltaxr19 idk or rly care about whp.. if you try to find a reliable stock dyno that doesnt vary you will look for a long time. Its all about the compression. 10Rs have a compression ratio of 12.7:1 and in 08 upped that to 12.9:1... in the same year, hayabusa went from 11.5:1 to 12.5:1

    most consistent dynos i can find: Sport rider reports 08 ZX10Rs at 161.2 HP and busa reportedly(also sport rider) went from 162.6 to 170.8. busa makes more but not enough to compensate for lbs.

    s1000RR.. 177HP!

  • Busa has more hp but weighs 573lbs (ridiculous.. not worthy of being called a sport bike) its a touring bike. saying its fastest cause of top speed ok, but quickest, not a chance.

    Sorry all you busa riders who say "Ive raced blah and blah and won" simple fact is you raced someone who cant ride up to their bikes level. Whether you like it or not, the 1000 class will always have the upper hand on overall accel and handling. You can keep the top speed claims, it means nothing to a real racer

    Tested in 08 by cycle world mag (s1000rr is not listed but is faster also) Busa perf hasnt changed since

    zx10r 0 -180  17.21

    gsxr1000 0-180 18.51

    busa 0-180 18.25

    zx14 0-180 19.77

  • @1482man Really any 1000? No the ONLY 1000 that will beat the busa/zx14 is a s1000rr and the new '11 with a reflashed ecu. I own a '07 zx14 and have raced both the gsxr1000 and the zx10. Never lost to a 1000 but I have lost to a busa. I'm just speaking from personal experience. By the way most but not all busa/zx14 riders are big guys compared to 1000 riders. Almost all are easily over 200. I'm only 180 though.

  • @jamesfs912 Naw , thats not what I'm saying , lets not be disrespectful calling names ... I'm saying it is easier upgrading those . I know alot of people that buy those and don't race . But if I was racing pro , I would buy a busa or 14 cause it's easier to upgrade . But stock or otherwise , any 1000 will be faster ...
