Germino Club 40 2x12" combo brought to you by FatSoundGuitars.com and Germino Amplifiers

The Tele and Gibson '54 Historic Les Paul and SG are direct into the amp, no pedals were used. A small room reverb was added in post production due to close mic' recording in order to help recreate the sound heard in the room while playing the amp live.
Thanks to Audley Freed for lending his incredible talents to us for the day!

  • Could someone post the equipment specs for recording rig used in this Fat Sound videos (specifically the mic on the amp)? Curious because the sound of them is some of the best sound quality I've heard outside of Pro Guitar Shop.

  • @drubarlow Since you've asked this question on a few of our demo's I'm just going to send you a PM with the details rather than cross posting.

    Thanks!!

  • $2650? that's more than suggested "list" by the manufacturer, isn't it? correct me, please. i might be having a bad dream.

  • @harlesslee $2650.00 is correct for the 2x12 combo with the preferred non-Heritage speakers. You can find all current pricing info on Greg's website as well as on mine. Thanks.

  • @THESGROCKS fatsoundguitars Check out the Germino section under amps in the Boutique Corner.

  • Sounds killer with any guitar, although I think the P90's really work well with this amp.

    Nice tasteful playing .

  • A fascinating name, Audley Freed, and poetic. I would guess an English name? And a great amp, the Germino. What is really great, however, is Mr. Freed's playing. I'll bet it's not just the chord changes that make this demo so fun to listen to but the wonderful tone Freed achieves. His choice of guitars is something, also. It doesn't seem to matter whether he's playing Tele or Les Paul, Freed shares marvelous tone. What a fine player!!

  • @bluebrowne13

Same here I am obsessed. And what makes it more elusive is the fact that he's so cool he doesn't even have a website. I have the first cry of love album on heavy rotation in my car at present.

  • I love Audleys style

  • Someone needs to get Cry of Love back together!!!!

  • Damn nice amp! Beautifully made.

  • @FatSoundGuitar How did you get the sound so clean? It's like I'm right there listening to it in person?

  • Great amp, and great guitarist! LOVE Audley's style!

  • My second favourite player in the whole world
