With just two of my four LABHORN subwoofers in my living room I knocked stuff of the counters and tilted all the pictures on my walls. This is even after I secured everything weeks ago with extra nails, screws and padding. Then again while I was securing my knick knacks I didnt play it louder than I really can without pissing my neighbors off. They are nice people...lol! I got bored with my regular setup and hauled these beasts in to have unlimited bass for a bit. Watching movies and listining to my favorite records is so much fun with the LABHORNs. Sure they take up half my living room, but I can give myself CPR if I have a heart attack when Im alone! Just Kidding. The LABHORNs are my PA subwoofers, part of my NOPA-V1 Pro Audio system that I use for my gigs. Concerts, weddings, fireworks, raves ect. If you need sound for any occasion and live in or around southern Ohio call me up for the ultimate audio experience!

In the video each subwoofer is recieving about 300 watts into 3 ohms from NAD 216 amplifiers bridged into mono. This is only about a quarter of their total power handling as each LABHORN subwoofer is capable of over 1000 watts apeice! Even sgnificantly underpowered these subs are so efficient they rock the foundations of my condo. Truly a modern engineering marvel! the best thing about these subs and whats always the most important to me is they sound so clean and musical. Rarely in life do you run accross something that does everything well without compromise! Cheap, loud, efficient, small(relative to the equivelent) and beautiful sounding. THANK YOU Tom Danley!

  • You'll see a better sight of air moving, when having somekind of spotlight travelling thru the room, then the light on air vibrates and moves.

  • @ylllar21 Thanks for the comments! Yeah, Im a renter so I dont worry about the foundation too much but I did find I'd chipped some dishes in my cupboards and one of my bookshelves was about 10 seconds from taking a dive as all the books started toward the edge and made it off balance. With just 2 of the 4 subs and 1/4 of the power they still do some damage! The most amazing thing about these subs as you can attest is they sound so musical and natural! Worth the effort to build for sure! :)

  • NOCHTIcom, How do these sound for rock? Like i mainly only put kick and bass via an AUX Send but I have heard this is a very temperamental box. I am looking to fill a 250-300 person bar. would 2 do this? and would it be tight?

  • where did u get these and how much do they cost?

  • LOL new comers to your place will think its a table, leave their wine glasses on it and shit will fly

  • Not bad, I'm running 8 Labhorns off a pair of Crest CA18's. They hoof out that sub!!

  • At 0:47 i heard a chicken!

  • Awesome man! I feel ya on not being able to keep shit down... I have 4 x labs off an xti6000. I have no idea what they are actually getting, but I do no the breaker pops after 15volts of sag, haha! I have a drum kit that I recorded at a show that I use to really impress... or try 'white girl' by Young Jeezy... those are my two demo tracks for the subs. What wood did you use? V1, 2, or 3? And how did you finish them? Rock on man!

  • A Tom Danley design... nuff said.

  • I hope you got a wooden house, cause it WILL make damage to your foundation and stone walls. :)

I got small fractures on outer wall of my new house from moderate playing with only one of these. But congrats of having these excellent subs.
