It's Sonic's 20th Anniversary of being in the video game business and he goes down memory lane through his gaming history with his younger self. Is Sonic Generations worth buying, renting, or should this anniversary title be left in the dust?

  • wow this guy is s total SGB rip off

  • @supersonicmike1 After this review I'm stopping being like them (and by that I mean stop quoting jokes. the voice can't be helped since we sound near alike) because now I'm more comfortable of branching out and making my own jokes. There will be small times I might reference them similar to how he references AVGN. In fact I'm actually looking at my script for my next review (Sonic CD PSN and Generations 3DS) to add more originality in terms of jokes which seems to be going good thus far.

  • @SonicXAmy121Gamer Do you plan to review Sonic Next-Gen in the future?

  • @MarioSonic2010 Yeah I do.

  • @SonicXAmy121Gamer Man, did that game got a terrible reception for having a rushed development after Shadow the Hedgehog was finished... I mean, seriously, what's next? Two future ports for the PC & Wii U?

  • @SonicXAmy121Gamer I grew up in the late 90's [1994] so the year when S3&knuckles was released.. I started getting into sonic when i had Sonic Battle,Sonic advance1-3 and Sonic heroes.. Shadow the hedgehog hype made me buy it after the release day.. Sega spent so much money and Cgi trailers for that game. And Sega found him but didnt hire any other FANTASTIC other animators that are on Deviantart?? I mean have they seen Sonic :Epilogue ?? it's amazing

  • @TrunXcZ Don't forget too that the game is built off an engine that "Taxman" worked years of his free time on and SEGA was impressed with it and asked him if he would work with Sonic Team to make his dream a reality. Speaking of the month of thing, that was purely coincidental. I just did the games I grew up with first. I may do month ofs.... similar to them like of Sonic and Mario (since we both grew up with them) but I'll mainly do franchises they haven't touched such as Kirby and Pac Man.

  • @SonicXAmy121Gamer Sonic cd doesnt have the rest of the Sonic genesis Physics?? Weird. And wow they took time w/this PORT but not the Genesis/Mega-drive ports with the wide-screen or the SONIC ADVENTURE PORT!@@! We wanted the Dc version. However, Are you donig a month of...... similar to "Super Gaming Bros"? Well, since you almost done w/ Sonic's 2-d genesis games you also start with classsic mario then work your way intto the 3-d trend

  • @TrunXcZ To add to the previous post, I may review those 2 games in January as a request because in December I plan to review if I can Sonic Generations 3DS and Super Mario 3D Land but if those don't work out then it more than likely will be Super Mario 64 and Sunshine.

  • @TrunXcZ It has Sonic 2's spin dash controls and physics and I believe an option to switch between the original and the new physics, widescreen support, tails is confirmed playable but after you beat the game I believe, an option to switch between remastered versions of the US and Japanese soundtracks, and the good upgrades from the Gamecube port such as the better quality cutscenes and framerate.
