  • EXCELLENT Video! I absolutely LOVE that shot of the Arrow IIIs overtaking the Silverliner IVs.

And the ACL set is Comet IVs, not Vs, btw.

  • @ns3010, corrected the description, thanks.

  • Great shots! Be glad you weren't at Frankford Junction! A NS freight was blocking the "view". We missed 5 or 6 trains including the Marc set, Silver Star, and NB Crescent..

  • @Acela150Kid, actually went to FJ first, saw 39G working there and then found out they closed the Wheatsheaf ped bridge so headed up to Tacony.

  • I loved seeing myself running train 88 by you guys. I played shave and a haircut on my HHP. I remember when i used to watch them go by, now 16 years later i'm running them joints..

  • Fred G. is the man I see just before the 5 minute mark! Very nice John!

  • @trainzeiro yes after thanksgiving railfanning gets better than normal.

  • Did Amtrak eliminate the Phase V paint? Every Amfleet seen here has Phase IV..

Also, what's the track speed at that place?

  • AT 5:10, great EMU shots there, SEPTA's Silverliner IV and Amtrak leased NJT Arrows III there.

  • What a fun day!

  • Great video, John!

I put in a 9am to midnight day with a few breaks on the Corridor. Started at Croydon, but the construction fence, future close clearance signs, and a catenary pole were a pain. Moved to Levittown around 10:30, Prospect Park at 4pm after lunch, Sharon Hill by 7pm, and Norwood at 11:40pm to get 66 running with "dual-mode" power....

  • Now that's my idea of a Lunch Hour!

  • Nice stuff as always John!

  • wow that last train had 2 cab car's. i still got more thanksgiving vids to upload to!
