I'm a big fan of Green Day, and a fan of Husker Du too.

But for those people who are posting comments about Green Day, you guys are in the wrong video (although yes, they did a cover of this song but that doesn't mean you're gonna post your shit here).

Can we just listen to the music and stop arguing about being punk and whatnot since we're here for the music in the first place?

Not at all. The drumming and strumming sure - on Green Day's older material, not the new ballads they make. But what riffs? They have very similars strumming and drums but not riffs at all.

Couldn't get into Candy Apple Grey at all when I was younger, coming back to a few years later its probably my favourite Husker Du album.
