Your gonna need a lot to beat a new edge gt that has a good driver. They can run around 13.7 with a good driver. The accord isn't close to that yet stock.

......i wouldn't say the new AT with paddle shifters(for the v6 only) is faster than the MT version but stock vs stock its FOR SURE not slower. I ran a 14.12(1 and only 1 run) stock in the 1/4 with my 2011 AT with paddle shifters. I do agree that the older AT in the v6 vs MT ...stock vs stock the MT would win, BUT NOT NO MORE!

Just for those people that say the MT are faster than the AT are wrong now. 2011 came out with paddle shifters for the V6(I own now) and you can red line. Not only can you red line it consistently but no matter what anyone says you can shift it faster than the MT accord no question even without double clutch(this will make up for the torque curve in MT). By the way I owned a 2005 6MT accord and drove a 2010 6MT and there is no way the stock MT it faster than the new AT.

The Ford has a heavier engine. The honda is lighter and quicker, but I garentee in a 3 mile race the Ford would win lol But that is one awesome accord.

@BiggyD2K Nice accord!!!! But second gear in an at accord is messed up it drops way to low but other than that an accord is a nice car but I really like altima's.
