Amanda had asked him to get into the water,because she wanted to see him all wet, such as the first Mr Darcy had done. However I don´t remember why the original Mr Darcy had got into the water. Anyway, both were very attractive this way.

@wuzzq In the Colin Firth movie he takes a swim in the lake outside his home and as he is walking back home he happens upon Elizabeth. She only sees him wet but not actually in the lake.

@koolnomi95 I agree -he is so charming...but if he was like this in the book the readers would split their love for Darsy or for Wickham-and this was not the Austen's idea-she wanted only one perfect hero

@tassuett I don't remember Mr. Darcy ever being in water in the book or movies.... He was ones wet because of rain but that's it..
