And finally here it is,my first home brew video. I apologize that it is in two parts, but I had a lot of difficulty trying to cut it down to under ten minutes. I hope some of you gain something from this video and I do hope you enjoy it,If you have any questions feel free to ask i'll do my best, there are things I probably forgot to mention. Other then that thanks for watching. Cheers

  • Thanks for the shout out! Looks like you know what you are doing. One thing I would suggest you do instead of using bleach is get you some One Step sanitizer. Bleach works but if you don't get everything rinsed off real well you may get some bleach flavor in your beer. With One Step you just rinse everything with it and that's it. You don't have to rinse the One Step sanitizer off. CHEERS and BEERS!!

  • Thanks,I do have some on step but I'm not to crazy about it. I rinsed my bucket 5 times with very hot water.

  • And im liking the canada hat, rickards shirt and guiness pants!

  • Right on,I like all things beer

  • @strocat25 can you buy malt extract from the grocery store?

  • Maybe instead of completely opening the can of malt you can use one of those triangle shaped cutters and put 2 holes in it? This video is making me thirsty.

  • also you never wanna put the lid on the boil pot u can get some nasty flavors from the hot and cold break that way

  • if you want better beer try not buy kits with corn sugar (dextrose) or whatever insted use 2-3 cans of malt extract and buy 1 oz. hop pellets and boil for 60 minutes then 10 minutes at the end.

all malt will make better beer. I dont know what kinds of beer you like but making excellent beer can be very easy VERY easy.

  • is that powdered sugar?

  • If you're happy doing it that way that's all that matters. I'm just lazy and try to do it the easiest way for me.

  • Sounds great Rob and I thanks you very much Sir.
