Natalia Magnicaballi, Principal Dancer with the Suzanne Farrell Ballet and Ballet Arizona.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Natalia is a graduate of the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires. She became a principal dancer at the age of 19 with Julio Boccas Ballet Argentino and has been a principal dancer with The Suzanne Farrell Ballet since 1999 and with Ballet Arizona since 2002.
In Europe she joined the 2000/2001 season of Italian company Aterballetto.
Her repertoire includes the lead roles in Swan Lake, Coppelia, The Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Raymonda, Carmen, Paquita, La Sylphide and Giselle; the leads in Balanchines Tzigane, Don Quixote, Duo Concertant, La Sonnambula, Divertimento No 15, Apollo, Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, Agon, Rubies and Diamonds from Jewels, Allegro Brillante, Serenade, Bugaku, Ballade, Meditation, Four Temperaments, Who Cares?, Liebeslieder Walzer, Episodes and Robbins Afternoon of a Faun. Natalia has premiered works by Jiri Kylian, Mauro Bigonzetti, Roland Petit, Dwight Roden, Oscar Araiz, Mauricio Wainrot and Ib Andersen. She toured and performed in the main houses and arena theatres around five continents, including the Paris Opera Garnier and the Mariinsky Theatre. Natalia has been feature as one of Dance Magazines 25 to watch and named the Best Dancer in Arizona by The Arizona Republic.
@AmritBD Yes. The scarf was poisoned by Madge (in revenge of James) and when the sylph dances with it, she goes blind, loses her wings and dies.
