  • @danielbb5 Mozart wrote all the vocal parts up to Sanctus (but only the first 8 bars of Lacrimosa). And you can easily hear that. Once the Sanctus begins it's like WTF.

  • ok.. no more tears left... crying and laughing...

  • Wow beautiful... Mozart, my heroe. Thanks for posting the whole piece.

  • Thank you for posting these.....excellent performance of the most beautiful poece of music ever written.

  • @danielbb5 So true!

  • @19GirlBad Actually Mozart only left some notes to this part of the Requiem. He just wrote Introito, Kyrie and Dies Irae before he died. His friend, Franz Xaver Süßmayr, wrote the other part of the Requiem. Im not saying Mozart couldnt write this, because he could do so much more...

  • Superb !!!

    Thanks a lot

  • That and the Bernstein would have to be the best two renditions of the Requiem ever! The Bohm tempo, although a lot slower is so dramatic. This is just perfect!

  • The Melody of the UNIVERSE!!!!!!!

  • @plagueofangels666 I like the faster version, too. But this is nice, especially because the runs are so clear. It's really hard for a choir to do that when it's fast.
