@sporeprints hey, i have a wildmushroom video from the 90s with one of britains best mushroom hunters Peter jordan,you may have heard of him, this is where i have heard it, he tells you on the video while picking a death cap with a plastic glove on, maybe its not true, im not sure now, cheers

@deantothea like early 90's LOL? mushroom toxins will not be able to get through your skin, only if you ingest them. if it were true, Tradd would be dead 10 years ago, and me 5 years ago. :)

the destroying angel is not the most deadly mushroom in the world, although it is a close second, the most deadly is the Death cap Amanita phalloides,which is common in england, i wouldnt recomend eating it lol

The taste cannot be a clue. Some taste great and others bitter...They are easy to identify with a little practice.
