DAVE HERE ONCE AGAIN WITH A JAM FEATURING MY JACKSON SOLOIST...SOME OF MY BEST PLAYING I THINK AND A CLOSE UP LOOK AT THE COLOR SHIFTING PAINTJOB.

Also, for those who wish to know...This is my setup...
I play through a Digitech 2120 guitar processor...It's powered by a 50 watt Mesa Boogie stereo power amp...
It all goes through 2 Marshall 4x12 cabinets in stereo...

i also sometimes use a Steve Vai Bad Horsie Wah Wah pedal...
I Play and love D'Addario XL guitar strings, the gauge is 10 through 46 (EXL110),,,

I also use and LOVE V-Picks guitar picks...i use the "small pointed Lite" model....
Thats my story, and i'm sticken' to it...

  • what kind of delay do you use??this sounds amazing!!!

  • @Diehardslashfan Thanks! It the delay on my Digitech 2120 processor.

  • Thanks for a video of a jackson without a bunch of power chord chugging and stuff like that, this really gives an idea of how good jackson tones can get.

  • @mattw8675 Thanks very much! Lol..I hear ya...yes, Jacksons are very versitile.

  • Hey Dave I had a question for you since you actually respond to you youtube video comments. I was looking into getting either a soloist sl1 sl2 or a les paul. I'm a really big Jacskon fan but I'm in a pop punk band and I was looking for something versatile with like a nice warm midrange growl that I could use for pop punk style stuff but still play along with Iron Maiden to on the weekends. What would you recommend?

  • @antiemo9 Honestly owning both myself I'd say either one is great. They both have heavy dense bodies. They get the same sort of sound. The Jackson has the Floyd Rose as a plus if your into whammy stuff. Both are great.

  • Amazing, sounds like magic...Could you link the backing track?

  • Dave, you bastard. You just made me buy a Jackson USA SL1 on eBay. I watched your excellent video and was immediately compelled to hit the Buy It Now button.

(I only hope I can learn to play half as good as you do).

  • @ebealienhead Thanks so much Dave, this is why you are awesome! Even with all of the views you get, you still take the time to answer questions on all of your videos

  • @Sniperm82 I tune to standard A440..Then play the track and just go for it. Not really sure what key its in.
