  • The EU does do a lot. Too bad the average person in the member states have no form of representation. Herman van Rompuy can dictate all kinds of laws and regulations to member states without their express consent. It will lead to tyranny even if the best of intentions behind it.

  • Excellent video. I am studing IR Theory currently and it is nice to see some of the theoretical jargon simplified!

  • @nightring Well you do realise that both the Israelies and the Palestinians have a right to live on the ground that is currently inhabited by Israelies? Its just that Israel had the aid of the US and GB when they first came in 1948 or whatever it was. They are not radicals, they simply want to live where they belong, so do the Israelies. Sure there are some radical wings of the PLO existing that wish to kill all that support Israel, but hey, that's what oppression will do to you! Get some facts!

  • Incredibly informative and well put. Well done.

  • Very well said.

  • The U.N. is fixing to vote on whether to give the leaders of the Palestinians a state right?

So the very system that is set up to prevent another world war is going to consider giving a bunch of radical leaders, who wish to wipe Israel off the map, then do the same with America, A platform to perform such acts?

Yes I will have to agree with Adeikov. The United Nations is definitely lacking intelligence :) :)

Especially since the Palestinian leadership has repeatedly turned down previous offers

  • I am sceptical of United Nation policies on Human Rights, because they do not define nor show works of that of *human dignity*, I want examples, case profiles, historical references; I want exemplar logic and empiricism to back it, and not just some fuzzy logic gymnastics.

If it is just words on a page, just another dogma from another institution, then I say that the human rights as united nations define is not sufficient for an intelligence. Just another holy scripture--unquestionable by law.
