LOL! Ray Bedard. Good guy. He used to tease me in a morning class when I would bring donuts for breakfast, about how when he was young he would just have a Coke and a Smoke. Good times.
well i was about to go, but i changed my mind. From my research and what i've heard, unless you have a lot of money sitting around, don't go there. You can accomplish and get all your certificates, and ratings, and a BS degree with a regular a lot lower cost flight school school, and a UC, or Cal State. THey will charge you up the ass. They do have crazy top of the line stuff, but it's a waste of money. You can achieve the same things with quarter of the money.
not the case anymore, that would have been true before h.r. 3371 passed the house of representatives. now it actually matters where you get your flight training. unfortunately riddle is not a fun school but it is becoming more and more necessary to get your flight training at a respected school like riddle, und, or purdue.
Embry Riddle is absolutely the best at what they do. They are expensive yes, but in many ways, they are worth the money. Also, based on proposed legislation, they will be one of few schools that will end up having lower time requirements to get into the airlines, which will be worth its weight in gold. Feel free to message me and we can talk further.
I went to ERAU last year and got my private (freshman), and now I'm $31,000 in debt. That was with scholarships. Many of my friends are $45,000+. I transferred to University of Alaska Anchorage-- for BS in aviation technology. Same exact stuff. Working on my Instrument. Cost me $88 dollars in tuition this semester.
